ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the exprassion of WT1 gene in patients with adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and its clinical significance.@*METHODS@#Sixty-three newly diagnosed patients with acute myeloid leukemia were selected. Quantitative RT-PCR was used to detect the expression of WT1 gene in the 63 AML patients and 20 non-AML controls.@*RESULTS@#WT1 gene was highly expressed in AML patents and its expression in the low-risk group was significantly lower than that in middle-risk group and high-risk group (P<0.05), and no significant difference of WT1 gene expression between middle-risk and high-risk group was observed. In the patients of middle-risk and high-risk patients, the expression of WT1 gene in the remission group was significantly lower than that in the patients of non-remission after treatment (P<0.05). The non-remission patients after first treatment in middle-risk and high-risk group were treated with second induction therapy. After second induction therapy, the WT1 expression in remission patients was significantly decreased (P<0.05) in comparison with that in patients still in non-remission. There was a negative correlation between WT1 expression and the 2-year overall survival rate in the newly diagnosed middle and high-risk AML patients.@*CONCLUSION@#The detection of WT1 gene expression can help to divide AML patients into low-/middle-/high-risk groups and to evaluate therapeutic response and clinical prognosis in middle and high-risk AML patients.

ABSTRACT

Objective To establish an infectious disease field prevention and control equipment system to facilitate equipment efficacy evaluation. Methods The equipment system was determined by analyses on the main procedure of infectious disease field prevention and control, researches on the missions and equipment requirements of grades of facilities for disease prevention and control, references to related equipment allocation standards as well as expert consulting. Results The first-grade system consisted of six classes and 136 subclasses of equipment, the second-grade system was made up of six classes and 114 subclasses of equipment and the third-grade system included six classes and 58 subclasses of equipment. Conclusion The three-grade infectious disease field prevention and control equipment system contributes to equipment efficacy evaluation.

ABSTRACT

Obective To research and build an evaluation index system of emergency medical rescue capabilities (EMRC),and then put forward a new assessment method of EMRC.Methods A competency model of EMR was established by using Competency Model, then an evaluation index system was constructed on base of analyzing the factors of EMRC,and an evaluation model was set up based on four-element connection number of set pair analysis (SPA).Results The example showed that the calculation of the model was relatively simple, and the assessment results were to be believed, and moreover, its multiple functions could make up for the shortage of the single function of other evaluation models. Conclusion This method is scientific and rational to some extent, and can provide reference for similar evaluation problems.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To discuss the application of E-commerce system in Hospital drug management. METHODS: It analyzed the defects existed in current Hospital Information System (HIS), introduced hospital E-commerce system and evaluated comparatively the drug management information before and after the application of the e-commerce system. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: E-commerce system has effectively made up the functional insufficiency of HIS and changed the traditional drug purchase mode; therefore, its application has a bright future.
